This section describes the network settings that are necessary for the SmartServer IoT Starter Kit. A basic network setup is described in the SmartServer IoT Getting Started video. The Starter Kit uses a more complex configuration requiring connections to two TCP/IP network segments in order to allow the BACnet MSTP router to be accessed using its default network setup (the BACnet configuration is described in the Setting up the BACnet Channel section).

1. Log into the SmartServer configuration UI using the username and password that appears on the SmartServer IoT.
   
   

2. Select the the Network tab, and configure your SmartServer to as shown in the figure below with the SmartServer IoT  LAN Interface set to use Static IP address with an IP address of 192.168.92.3.
   
   
   
   

3. Click Update.
   
   
   
   
4. Select the System tab.
   
   
   
   The System Configuration page appears.
