New Device with the Same Name as a Deleted Device Is Not Being Added

Only for LON devices using DMM.

You can create connections with both the CMS Connections widget and using MQTT. MQTT created connections do not show up in the Connections widget.

This problem may indicate that the LON drivers LTE and LTX crashed or are out of sync.

Restart only the LON services using SSH/console. Doing so typically allows you to add the new device.

SmartServer release 4.0 and higher

sudo smartserverctl restart lon

Restarting LON services LTE and LTX for SmartServer 3.6 and prior releases

sudo supervisorctl restart lon:

For SmartServer 3.6 and prior, include the colon : at the end of the command.
