Logs

You can prune and delete data logs from the database as described in the following steps:

  1. Open the Devices widget, SEGMENT CONTROLLER tab. Click the Expand buttonImage Removed ).

  2. Click the Action button () and select the Delete Logged Data action.

    The Delete Logged Data view appears.
    Image RemovedThe Total Data Log Size field specifies how much space is consumed by alarms and events data logs. When you specify the time period (Delete Logged Data Before field) for deleting data logs, the Data Log Bytes to be Deleted field will show how much space will be made available after the delete operation. The default date for the Delete Logged Data Before is 60 days prior to the current date.

  3. Use the calendar in the Delete Logged Data Before field to select the time period for deleting data logs.

    The Delete Logged Data view is updated with data log bytes to be deleted.

  4. Click DELETE DATA Delete Data.

    The logged data for the specified time period is deleted and the Devices widget appears.

Alarm Events

The Devices widget, SEGMENT CONTROLLER tab provides the ability to delete logged events You can prune and delete alarm events from the database as described in the following steps:

  1. Open the Devices widget, SEGMENT CONTROLLER tab. Click the Expand buttonImage Removed )

  2. Click the Action button () and select the Delete Logged Events action.



    The Delete Logged Events view appears.
