If you are experiencing trouble enabling or disabling network interfaces using the SmartConnect Configuration page, then verify that you are using Raspberry Pi OS Lite 64-bit, release date October 11, 2023 or later. Refer to the sections that follow to determine versions.
You can determine what version of Debian you are using by entering the following commands from a terminal window on the server (described above):
lsb_release -a cat /etc/debian_version |
You can determine what version of Cockpit (web browser for Linux server administration) you are using by entering the following command from a terminal window on the server (described above):
dpkg -l | grep cockpit |
If you are logging into the SmartConnect Configuration page and see the following message as shown in the figure below: This module requires administrative access. Switch to administrative access in Cockpit's upper menu.
Click the button.
The following message appears.
Click Close.
The SmartConnect Configuration page opens with administrative access.
