Are SmartServers affected by the OpenSSL HeartBleed Bug?

 Information

No, the SmartServer is not affected by the OpenSSL HeartBleed Bug.

The SSL implementation in the SmartServer is based on OpenSSL 0.9.8.h, which is not susceptible to the Heartbleed Bug.  The bug was introduced  in OpenSSL 1.0.1, and has been fixed in OpenSSL 1.0.1g.  Any future SmartServer updates or upgrades will use OpenSSL 0.9.8.h, OpenSSL 1.0.2-beta2, or a newer SSL release, all of which do not have the Heartbleed Bug.
