SmartServer Pi is available with SmartServer 4.2 and higher.
The For SmartServer 4.4 and higher, the default SmartServer Pi CMS username and password is apollo / apollo.
For SmartServer 4.3 Update 1 and prior, the SmartServer Pi CMS password for the default apollo and admin user accounts is configured in the smartserver.ini file with the SmartServer Pi installation. The password that is defined in the smartserver.ini file does not have any effect on the Raspberry Pi OS / SmartServer Pi Configuration page password. This section describes how to change SmartServer Pi CMS user passwords.
Since enhanced security is enabled by default for the SmartServer Pi, you will be prompted to change the password to meet stronger password requirements when you first log in. This section describes how to set a stronger password that meets enhanced-security password requirements. To disable enhanced security, see Configuring Security (Authentication Method).
The SmartServer Pi OS user accounts and Configuration page login accesses (default user apollo, as set in the Install the Raspberry Pi OS for SmartServer Pi section) are not configured with the CMS Users widget, but are managed through the SmartServer Pi Configuration page as with all other OS operations. The SmartServer Pi Configuration page internally uses the Raspberry Pi OS user accounts. The OS is fully client-owned and configured and there is no synchronization between the SmartServer Pi CMS user and OS user accounts.
