KB1455 - How to renew SmartServer Signed Certificates
The SmartServer tries to automatically renew signed certificates, but if it can't do that, which could be due to internet issues, you will need to manually renew the signed certificate.
If the certificate times out then you will get a Web Browser warning or error message when you try to access the SmartServer using the host name like
https://smartserver-17q3jd2.echelon.cloud
To not see the Web Browser error message you either need to manually renew the license using one of the instructions below or only use the SmartServer IP address.

SmartServer 3.5 release and higher:

SmarServer 3.4 and prior releases:
1. ssh/console into the PC using the root username and apollo password
2. Run the following command
/sbin/dehydrated -c
3. Wait a while as this takes time.
4. when done restart nginx, i.e.
systemctl restart nginx
