The SmartServer Configuration page provides the ability to configure the SmartServer network and system settings, as well as LON (not available for SmartServer Pi), BACnet, OPC UA (not supported for SmartServer Pi), RS-485, Modbus, EnOcean, LoRaWAN, and Firewall (IAP/MQ server) settings.

To view your SmartServer system information, perform the following steps:

  1. For SmartServer IoT, open the SmartServer Configuration page as described in Accessing the SmartServer Configuration PageThe Network tab appears as the default SmartServer Configuration page. Once the network settings are configured for the SmartServer system, then the System tab will appear as the default as shown in the next step.

    For SmartServer Pi, open the SmartServer Configuration page as described in Accessing the SmartServer Pi Configuration Page. The Configuration tab that appears depends on your cache data. As needed, click the SmartServer IoT tab. The System tab (top) will appear as the default as shown in the next step.




  2. Click the System tab. The System Configuration page appears with the system information displayed at the top of the page. The system information includes the following:
  • Version – version of the SmartServer software that is running
  • Serial number – SmartServer IoT serial number (not available for SmartServer Pi)
  • MAC ID – unique ID used for SmartServer Configuration page System and LON tabs. The LON tab is not available for SmartServer Pi.
  • Install Code – part of the SmartServer Pi hostname, where hostname uses the format smartserver-<install code>, for example: smartserver-hsbcw69
  • Segment Provisioning Status – provisioned or unprovisioned 
  • Segment ID – the Segment Identifier (SID) is the logical address of the device that controls a segment
  • LON Network Management Mode – Device Management Mode or Independent Management Mode (not available for SmartServer Pi)
  • CMS Status  – provides status information about whether or not the CMS is running (not available for SmartServer Pi)
  • System Uptime – length of time that the system has been running
