Downloading Logs
Downloading logs is available with SmartServer 4.0 and higher.
For SmartConnect, Download Logs feature s is supported for SmartConnect 4.3 and higher. SmartConnect is available with SmartServer 4.2 and higher.
For SmartServer 4.1 and prior, see Downloading Logs (Release 4.1 and Prior).
You can download SmartServer logs for troubleshooting and system diagnostics. To download logs, follow the steps below.
For SmartServer IoT, log into the Configuration page as described in Accessing the SmartServer IoT Configuration Page. For SmartConnect, log into the Configuration page as described in Accessing the SmartConnect Configuration Page. Click the SmartServer IoT tab (left side) as needed.
The System tab appears.

A message appears indicating that logs are being collected.SmartServer IoT System Tab
Once the logs are downloaded, a message appears indicating that the file is ready.SmartServer IoT System TabClick the Download button to download all logs and configuration files to your PC.
SmartServer IoT System TabClick the download log to unzip and open the file.
SmartServer IoT System TabClick anywhere on the System Configuration page to bring the page back into view.
