Downloading Logs
Downloading logs is available with SmartServer 4.0 and higher.
For SmartConnect, Download Logs feature s is supported for SmartConnect 4.3 and higher. SmartConnect is available with SmartServer 4.2 and higher.
For SmartServer 4.1 and prior, see Downloading Logs (Release 4.1 and Prior).
You can download SmartServer logs for troubleshooting and system diagnostics. To download logs, follow the steps below.
Open the SmartServer Configuration page as described in Accessing the SmartServer IoT Configuration Page. The Network tab appears as the default SmartServer Configuration page. Once the network settings are configured for the SmartServer system, then the System tab will appear as the default.

For SmartConnect, open the SmartServer Configuration page as described in Accessing the SmartConnect Configuration Page. The Configuration page view that appears depends on your cache data. As needed, click the SmartServer IoT tab (left-side). The System tab (top) will appear as the default as shown below.SmartConnect System TabClick the System tab as needed.

A message appears indicating that logs are being collected and that the process will take a few minutes to complete.SmartServer IoT System Tab
Once the logs are downloaded, a message appears indicating that the file is ready.SmartServer IoT System TabClick the Download button to download all logs and configuration files to your PC.
SmartServer IoT System TabClick the download log to unzip and open the file.
