Viewing System Information

For SmartServer 3.4 to 4.1, see Viewing System Information (Release 3.4 to 4.1).

For SmartServer 3.3 and prior, see Configure Your SmartServer (Release 3.3 and Prior)

The SmartServer Configuration page provides the ability to configure the SmartServer system and network settings, as well as LON (LON is not available for SmartServer Pi 4.2; LON PL is not supported for SmartServer Pi 4.3 and higher), BACnet, OPC UA (for SmartServer Pi 4.2 and higher, OPC UA is beta), Modbus, RS-485, EnOcean, LoRaWAN, and Firewall (IAP/MQ server) settings. For more information about switching the LON network management mode, see (Optional) Switch From LON Management. This feature is not available for SmartServer Pi.

For more information about rebooting the system, see Rebooting Your SmartServer IoT. For SmartServer Pi, see Rebooting Your SmartServer Pi.

For more information about reseting the system to defaults, see Resetting the SmartServer IoT to Factory Defaults. This feature is not available for SmartServer Pi.

For more information about updating the system, see Updating or Re-imaging the SmartServer IoT. For SmartServer Pi, see Updating or Re-imaging the SmartServer Pi.

For more information about configuring Advanced Intrusion Detection Environment (AIDE), see Configuring Advanced Intrusion Detection Environment (AIDE). AIDE is an open source, Linux operating system file and directory integrity checker. Running AIDE creates a significant load on the CPU and file system and can impact system performance. In high security installations, this feature may need to enabled; otherwise, it should be disabled. For SmartServer 4.3 and higher, AIDE is disabled by default and configurable through the System Configuration page to run once a day. For SmartServer 3.5 to 4.2 Update 1, AIDE is enabled by default to run a daily cron job and can be disabled manually through an SSH console session. This feature is not available for SmartServer Pi.
