ERP1 STATUS Field Encoding

The STATUS field encodes the following parameters:

  • HASH type
    This field identifies if the Checksum or the CRC algorithm are used to verify the integrity of the telegram:

    • 0b0: Checksum algorithm is used

    • 0b1: CRC algorithm is used

  • PTM Type
    This field identifies if the sender is a PTM 21x module or another type of device:

    • 0b0: Sender is not a PTM 21x device

    • 0b1: Sender is a PTM 21x device

  • PTM Status
    If the device is a PTM 21x module, then this field identifies the number of buttons pressed:

    • 0b0: No button is pressed (user presses the energy bar only) or more than 2 buttons are pressed

    • 0b1: 1 or 2 buttons are pressed

  • Repeater Information
    This field encodes the following repeater status information:

    • 0b0000: Original Telegram (Telegram has not been repeated)

    • 0b0001: One Hop Repeated Telegram (Telegram has been repeated once)

    • 0b0010: Two Hop Repeated Telegram (Telegram has been repeated twice)

    • 0b1111: Original Telegram, Do Not Repeat (Telegram shall not be repeated)

    • Other values: RFU (Do not use)
