Step 2 - Connect to the SmartSupervisor

SmartSupervisor is available with SmartServer 4.4 and higher.

You can connect your SmartServer to a SmartSupervisor to create a system with multiple SmartServers using a single SmartSupervisor. The SmartSupervisor and all SmartServers using it must be the same release number.

To connect to a SmartSupervisor, follow these steps:

1. Install and start the SmartSupervisor as described in Set up the SmartSupervisor Host Computer and  Install and Start the SmartSupervisor.
   
   

2. Enable SmartSupervisor on each SmartServer that you plan to use with the SmartSupervisor as described in Enable the SmartSupervisor for a SmartServer. 
   
   

3. Open a web browser and connect to the SmartSupervisor by entering the SmartSupervisor IP address in the URL as shown below: 

   https://<SmartSupervisor IP address>/cms

   The SmartSupervisor login page appears.
   
   

   Open

   

    

4. Enter the SmartSupervisor login username and password.
   
   

   Open

   

    

5. Click LOGIN.
   
   The SmartSupervisor dashboard appears.
   
   

    

6. Click the Devices widget, SEGMENT CONTROLLER tab. Click the Expand button (). 
   
   

    

   You will see all of the SmartServers that are connected to the SmartSupervisor.
