Accessing the SmartServer Pi Configuration Page
SmartServer Pi is available with SmartServer 4.2 and higher.
You can access the SmartServer Pi Configuration page to set up and manage your SmartServer Pi as described in the following sections:
Accessing the SmartServer Pi Configuration Page
To access the SmartServer Pi Configuration page, perform the following steps:
Connect to your SmartServer Pi using a web browser by entering the IP address or the hostname in the URL as follows:
https://<IP address> or <hostname>
Example: IP addresshttps://192.168.4.146
Example: hostname with a local DNS serverhttps://smartserver-hsbcw69
Example: hostname without a local DNS server; using mDNShttps://smartserver-hsbcw69.local
The login page appears prompting you to enter your user name and password.Enter your user name and password in the appropriate fields. Login credentials for the SmartServer Pi Configuration page are the same as your Raspberry Pi login credentials. Login credentials can be configured in Accounts settings.
- Click Log in.
The SmartServer Pi Configuration page appears.

Using the SmartServer Pi Configuration Page
The SmartServer Pi Configuration page displays system information and provides tabs at the top of the page for setting up device interfaces including LON (LON is supported for SmartServer Pi 4.3 and higher, with the exception of LON PL), BACnet, OPC UA (Beta), Modbus, RS-485, EnOcean, and LoRaWAN. It also provides tabs for opening the SmartServer Pi CMS and accessing help.
The left-side Configuration tabs provide the system management operations listed below. SmartServer Pi configuration is mainly accomplished using the SmartServer IoT tab. The other tabs are used to configure host settings that are outside the scope of SmartServer Pi.
