Using the NodeUtil Node Utility for LON Devices

LON is not supported for SmartServer Pi.

You can use the NodeUtil Node Utility with the SmartServer IoT to test and diagnose LON devices.  To use NodeUtil, follow these steps:

1. If you do not have OpenLDV installed on your computer, download and install OpenLDV. Go to OpenLDV Network Driver for more information.
   
   
2. Download and install NodeUtil. Go to NodeUtil and NodeLoad for more information.
   
   
3. Enable the SmartServer IoT RNI interface from the SmartServer LON configuration page. To do so, select the LON tab in the menu bar and enable the RNI on a LON interface such as lon0.
   
   
4. Click Update to save configuration changes.
