Configuring MQTT Settings

The MQTT feature (Settings widget) is available with SmartServer 4.0 and higher. Prior to SmartServer 4.2, MQTT was called MQTT Settings.

You can configure the MQTT server settings using the SmartServer CMS Settings widget. The following settings can be defined:

  • Keep alive internal
  • Connection timeout
  • Reconnection interval

To configure the MQTT settings, follow these steps:

  1. Open the SmartServer CMS.

  2. Open the CMS Settings widget.

  3. Click MQTT.

    The MQTT Settings view appears.

  4. Set the MQTT internal keep alive (default is 60 seconds).

  5. Set the MQTT connection timeout (default is 30 seconds).

  6. Set the MQTT reconnection interval, that is, the number of seconds after which a reconnection is attempted after a timeout.

  7. Click Save to save the MQTT settings.
