Using the LEDs

You can use the i.LON 700 LEDs to get an overview of the i.LON 700 status and operation. The following figure and table display and describe these LEDs.

Power

On (blue) when powered; flashing (alternating green/off) when connecting.

LAN

On (blue) when a LAN connection is active (i.e., an active device is sensed at the other end of the Ethernet cable attached to the LAN port, which is typically a switch), but no data is sensed through the LAN port (either inbound or outbound); flashing (alternating green/off) when data is sensed through the LAN port (either inbound or outbound); off when no LAN connection is available.

Ready

On (blue) when the i.LON 700 software is running and available; flashing (alternating red/off) when there is an i.LON 700 error.

Using the Buttons

You can use the i.LON 700 buttons to reset and connect the i.LON 700. The following table describes these buttons.
