Using the IzoT Router Service Connect Button
You can press the Service/Connect button on the IzoT Router to send out Service pin messages for all the currently active routers and apps within the IzoT Router. The IP-852 channel and each LON FT channel you use has a router associated to it. All of the routers use the LonTalk/IP interface on the LAN channel as a backbone.
By default, only the router for the built-in LON FT channel is active, and it is configured as a repeater so that all LonTalk/IP messages are forwarded between the LAN and the LON channels. If you press the Service/Connect button, you will see two Service messages from the router associated with the internal LON FT channel—one message from the router's LAN IP-70 interface and one from the built-in LON FT interface. If you enable IP-852 and add up to four external U60 DIN network interfaces, you will see twelve Service pin messages—one from each of the five LON FT interfaces, and for the IP-852 interface, and six for the LAN IP-70 interfaces for the six routers.
You can use the IzoT Router System Configuration Web page to send a Service message for a specific router. With the exception of the IP-852 router, each network interface has a MAC ID label that you can use to associate a network interface with a router listed in the IzoT Router System Configuration Web page.
